Clay Belton
Clay Belton is the oldest of three boys, born to parents, Lisa & Craig Belton II. His brothers, Chase Belton and Cameron Belton, were also athletes through high school and college. Clay was athletic at a young age and excelled in soccer, basketball, baseball, and football. Clay played varsity basketball & football at Northmont High School, graduating in 2007. Clay is the CEO of Midwest Elite Football and is in charge of all business operations. Clay is the co-founder of Midwest Elite Football, along with Kevin Moore. Clay is currently employed full time as a Marketing Specialist at CareSource.Clay was a two year varsity football starter at Northmont High School. Clay received First Team All GWOC honors in 2006, Honorable Mention All Ohio Team in 2006, and participated in the National Army Bowl football game in 2006. Clay was also one of two recipients of the prestigious Ohio Blue Chip Award in 2006. Clay received Second Team All GWOC honors in 2007, participated in the Miami Valley North/South All Star game in 2007, and was an MVP of that game. Clay was a nationally recruited quarterback, ranked as high as 24 in the USA and #1 in the state of Ohio. Clay was highly recruited by the Ohio State University, but they decided to not recruit a quarterback in 2007. Clay received full ride scholarship offers to the University of Cincinnati, Miami University of Ohio, Duke University, University of Toledo, Kansas State University, Eastern Michigan University, and others. Clay attended Miami University of Ohio from 2007–2009, attended the University of Maryland from 2009-2010, and attended the University of Findlay where he graduated in 2013 with a degree in Marketing. Clay was chosen to participate in the Casino Dell Sole All Star Football Game in 2013. Clay played quarterback as an undrafted free agent for the Miami Dolphins in 2013. Clay played quarterback for the San Jose Sabercats, Indoor Professional Football Team, in 2014. In 2015, Clay played quarterback for the Dresden Monarch Football Team, in the European GFL Football League. Clay played quarterback for the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, Indoor Professional Football Team, in 2016. In 2017, Clay played Indoor Professional Football for the Georgia Firebirds and the Corpus Christi Rage.Clay coached as a Freshman Quarterback Coach at Springfield High School in 2014. In 2015, Clay coached the Northmont Freshman Football Team as a Quarterback Coach and Offensive Coordinator. Clay served as the Freshman Head Football Coach and the Freshman Head Basketball Coach at Springfield in 2016 and 2017.
